Improved erosion protection with new Enkamat
Arnhem, the Netherlands (June 11, 2009) – Many Civil Engineers wish to use natural vegetation
as a means of erosion protection. To enable engineers to do so while also offering reliable
protection in the vulnerable period when vegetation is still developing, Colbond has
introduced a new product: Enkamat J. Enkamat J combines for the first time a standard
polyamide Enkamat with a biodegradable fabric stitched to it.

Colbond launches Next Generation PVD
Performance increased by 50% - Quicker soil consolidation and reduced construction time
Arnhem, the Netherlands (April 2008) – After intense in-house research and development work Colbond now launches their latest product innovation for civil engineering applications: A prefabricated vertical drain (PVD) marked by a unique hydraulically designed drainage core bonded to nonwoven filter layers over its entire surface.
The core is shaped into a solid channel profile and ensures outstanding water flow rates, resulting
in quicker settlement of soft soils and a significant reduction of the construction time for infrastructure
projects on marshland areas or reclaimed land.
