Products belonging to the Enkamat family may be used wherever soil has to be protected against erosion or stabilized on steep impermeable slopes. With the three-dimensional structure permanently reinforcing and supporting root systems, all Enkamat products form stable, permanent vegetated surfaces, working together with plants as construction materials. Enkamat is an effective, integrated erosion protection system.

As soon as it is installed, Enkamat protects against erosion by reducing the impact of wind and water on the surface and preventing soil runoff.

With mats up to 5.75 m wide and 150 m long, Enkamat is quick and cost-effective to lay in both parallel and perpendicular direction to the slope, thereby ensuring significant cost savings. Enkamat is light and flexible, making it easy to handle and install.



The pyramid-like structure with vertically oriented individual monofilaments ensures the mat retains its shape, even when filled with soil.

All Enkamat types are non-toxic and chemically neutral; making them suitable even for the use in drinking water reservoirs.

The products are highly weather-resistant and durable.

Enkamat is very flexible, for ease of laying, even at low temperatures. Depending on the product type, it can be assured to be suitable for use at temperatures from -30°C to + 80°C.

All Enkamat erosion prevention mats are rot-proof and resistant to all substances and organisms occurring naturally in the soil. Most Enkamat products are also fire-retardant.
